Facebook Online donation tool

On December 17 2013, Facebook released a Donate Now button to help nonprofit organizations accept donations, according to TechCrunch, a technology blog site. Facebook can collect the user’s credit card information and other financial information to promote the development of e-commerce and gaming business.
19 nonprofit organizations working with Facebook will show the “Donate Now” button at the top of their Facebook page and at the bottom of the stream, including DonorsChoose.org, Boys And Girls Club Of America, World Wildlife Fund, UNICEF, Red Cross and Kiva The After a period of testing, Facebook will push this feature to more non-profit organizations.
The “Donate Now” button allows users to donate to nonprofits in a pop-up window without leaving Facebook. The user can choose the amount of the donation and enter the detailed payment information. The “Donate Now” button also allows users to easily share donations with nonprofit organizations and friends to promote the development of charity. User donation process, Facebook does not charge any fees.
Of course, helping nonprofit organizations also contributes to Facebook in the long run. For example, Facebook supports Internet.org, a non-profit organization that helps expand the Internet in developing countries, and could bring more users.
And mobile application platform developers Apple, Google, and Amazon and other e-commerce giants, Facebook is also actively collecting user credit card information. The lack of credit card information has become an obstacle for users to buy game props or gift vouchers on Facebook.
